iQOO's upcoming Neo 9 Pro smartphone, set to launch on February 22, is anticipated to offer impressive specifications, as disclosed on its Amazon landing page. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and will be available in two storage configurations: 8GB RAM with 256GB storage or 12GB RAM with 256GB storage.
In the camera department, the Neo 9 Pro boasts a 50MP Sony IMX920 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, promising enhanced photography capabilities.
The device is equipped with a substantial 5,150mAh battery that supports rapid 120W fast charging. Interestingly, the included PD charger can also be utilized for fast charging other PD protocol-compatible devices, achieving speeds of up to 65W. This is an upgrade from the previous iQOO Neo 7 Pro, which also featured 120W fast charging but housed a slightly smaller 5,000mAh battery.
In terms of display, the Neo 9 Pro is rumored to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The device might incorporate a 16MP front-facing selfie camera and come in Fiery Red and Conqueror Black color variants, exhibiting a dual-tone design, possibly finished with a leather texture.
As for pricing, the Neo 9 Pro is expected to be competitively priced around Rs.35,000 in India, positioning it as a formidable competitor to the OnePlus 12R, which starts at Rs.40,000. Additionally, the Neo 7 Pro has recently received a Rs. 7,000 price reduction on Amazon, further enhancing its appeal in the market.
